克洛德·列维-斯特劳斯：法国著名的社会人类学家、哲学家，法兰西科学院院士，结构主义人类创始人。早年在巴黎大学主修哲学与法律，1934-1937年在巴西圣保罗大学教授社会学，并从事巴西土著之田野研究。1948年返法，1959年出任法兰西学院教授。作为20世纪最伟大的人类学家之一，他的影响波及人类学、语言学、哲学、历史等诸多领域。主要著有《结构人类学家》（1～２）、《神话学》（4卷）、《野性的思维》等。
